Dr. So Young Park received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2012. Before attending dental school, Dr. Park studied for a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of California, Davis. Dr. Park began traveling the world at a young age and has called Korea, Australia, Russia, Japan, and Egypt home at different times throughout her life. This global perspective provides a wide lens within her dental practice, and affords her the ability to connect with people from all walks of life (the degree in psychology probably doesn't hurt either!). She has called the Bay Area home since 1999, and loves the vast blend of cultures and backgrounds in her community. Dr. Park is committed to the relationship between patient and doctor. She is transparent and thorough in her work, offering a unique path that works best for you. She enjoys continuing education and is constantly seeking out cutting-edge technology that can enhance your experience and dental health. She also collaborates with colleagues in study club sessions. She is an active member of Spear Study Club and the South Bay Implant Study Club. Outside of the office, Dr. Park enjoys practicing yoga, breaking a sweat on a hike, movie marathons, and being surrounded by friends and family.
